Freedom From Fentanyl Conference

November 4, 2023 @ 9:00 am 4:00 pm

Register now to attend the Freedom From Fentanyl Conference hosted by DJ’s Wish. Fentanyl has become the number one cause of death for those between 18 – 45 years of age. Teen deaths from fentanyl nearly tripled from 2019 – 2021. The purpose of this conference is to identify ways of supporting those who have lost loved ones, helping those suffering with SUD (Substance Use Disorder), to gather information from law enforcement and elected officials and build a network of advocacy in Western North Carolina.
Speakers include Aubrey Woodard, Political Director for Congressman Chuck Edwards, Special Agent Chuvalo Truesdell, DEA Atlanta, SBI Special Agent, and TCSO Narcotics.
Fentanyl victim families are invited to bring a photo and share your loved one’s name with our guests. We encourage you to prepare questions for the panelists – Law Enforcement, Recovery and Prevention, and Pain into Purpose Panels. Other organizations with similar missions are welcome to attend and tell us about your work.
The illicit fentanyl crisis in our country is claiming far too many and it will take all of us to find solutions. Join us on November 4, 2023 for a day of Awareness, Collaboration, Connecting, and Prevention.
